Excalibur Indus comes with a solid, double cutaway body made of alder. It features no top wood covers or bindings. Plastic pickguard is the only top feature. The bridge on this model is a tremolo with chrome plating and string-through construction. In the pickups department DiMarzio supplies a pair of humbuckers. These are PAF-styled pickups are active and feature a simple controls unit which consists of master volume, master tone and a five-position blade switch. The pickup switch is also a coil splitter, as it features single coil tones in second, third and fourth positions. Maple neck is bolted to the body and equipped with D contour. Maple and rosewood are options for fingerboard wood. 24 medium frets, dot position inlays, 11.80" radius and 1.65" teflon nut complete both fingerboard options.
