EG-2 is a double-cut guitar from the Escape series of the electric guitars made by Traveler Guitars. This brand is dedicated to the traveler-sized guitars, both acoustic and electric. Six-stringers, as well as basses are now offered by Traveler. Hallmarks of the Traveler design include headless necks and holes on the body with tuning machines being visible through them. EG-2 is a solid-bodied double-cut guitar made of alder. It has a flat top and a big white pickguard, much like the legendary Strat. Bridge section features the hardtail bridge with strings running in opposite direction (top of the neck anchors the strings with tuners beneath the body). Two single coil pickups are installed on this model. Maple neck is topped with a 21-fret fingerboard made of ebonized rosewood.
