North Star is one of four electric models made by Titanic guitars and unveiled at the NAMM 2012 Show. It is made in honor of 100 years of Titanic launch and, according to that, there will only be 100 copies made. North Star kicks off with a solid, double cutaway body made in style of the cult rocker, SG. Devil horn cutaways, beveled edges and a flat top denote a fiery character of this guitar. There are no bindings, as it is an SG tradition. Vintage Marine is the color chosen for the North Star, and it is finished in gloss. There is also a black pickguard on the upper portion of the body. Skin and bones rock `n` roll approach continues with a chrome plated wrap-around bridge. One single coil, P-90 styled pickup drives this guitar from the bridge position. There is no neck pickup. Master volume and master tone are the only controls on this Star. The neck is made of maple and gives the ash body unique tonal versatility. It is connected to the body with a set joint. The fingerboard is made of ebony and features 22 frets with a set of dot position inlays.
