Boden OS series boasts compound scales, top-class electronics (both passive and active), advanced construction features (headless necks, Strandberg bridges and mixed neck construction) and Strandberg`s original body shape. The name of the series was inspired by a town in Northern Sweden, also named Boden. Boden OS 7 is the basic seven-stringer of its range. It comes with a chambered body made of swamp ash base and flamed maple top (two-piece top, bookmatched). The neck is bolted to the body and is made of three pieces of birdseye maple and two pieces of rosewood (carbon fiber stripes can substitute rosewood parts). Birdseye maple and rosewood fingerboards are available (offset inlays, 20" radius, fanned frets). Other important features include a Strandberg EGS Series 4 bridge, EMG 707X pickups and string lockers.
