While the flagship models sell under Music man brand, affordable side of the roster is branded Sterling by Music Man. LK100D is currently the only Sterling Steve Lukather model. Main features of this affordable axe include a solid and double-cut body (mahogany construction, flame maple top on Hazel Burst option), roasted hard maple neck (fast contour, 5-bolt neck joint), rosewood fingerboard (22 narrow frets, 25.5" scale, dot inlays, 12" radius, 1.65" nut), passive pickups (vol w/9V active boost, tone, 5-position blade switch), tremolo bridge, and die-cast tuners.
