Vintage Modified line from Squier offers a wide variety of models covering all major Fender/Squier body shapes and styles. As it is tradition for years now, Squiers part of the series is aimed at younger players and guitarists who can not afford the original Fender guitar. Vintage Modified Surf Stratocaster pays tribute to the Surf craze from '50s and '60s and comes with a solid, double cutaway basswood body. This model is available in three color options: surf green, sonic blue and candy apple red. All of them are finished in polyester gloss. There are no bindings featured on Surf Stratocaster. The bridge is a well-known vintage styled two-point synchronized tremolo with chrome plating and string-through body construction. The pickup combo consists of standard three single coil pickups, and they are Duncan Designed LS-102 For Strat singles. Standard controls setup includes master volume, two tone knobs and a five-position blade. The neck is made of maple and equipped with C shape and four-bolt neck joint. The fingerboard is made of rosewood with 21 medium jumbo frets and dot position inlays. Synthetic bone nut is 1.65" wide, scale is 25-1/2" long and fingerboard radius measures at 9.50 inches. The MSRP for Vintage Modified Surf Stratocaster is set at $499.99.

I recently picked up my surf Strat for 275 pounds new the neck is awesome for the price I’ve a few squires an infinity an se they pale in comparison to the VMStrat I have a Mim standard telecaster which I love but the VM keeps impressing me I think it’s awesome
