Squier is Fender`s sub brand in charge of the lower portions of the market and affordable guitars and basses. Catalog and model construction is pretty much similar to the Fender`s and accordingly, Squier has the Deluxe series. It is, naturally, reserved for the best models in the catalog. Deluxe Strat is the flagship of the line and it comes with a solid, double-cut basswood body. With standard 25-1/2" scale, modern body proportions and 9.50" fingerboard radius, this Strat can compete with the basic ones from the Fender side of the catalog. Non-locking trem bridge is fronted by a set of three Duncan Designed SC-101 single-coil pickups. Bolted neck is made of maple and it is topped with a standard 22-fret fingerboard made of maple.
