The Contemporary series is Fender`s attempt to revitalize and rejuvenate the Squier catalog. Thus far, the results have been great and for the summer of 2018, Contemporary series has received a brand new six-string model - Contemporary Active Jazzmaster HH. This is the most ferocious Jazzmaster introduced in recent years; it is packed with a pair of active humbucking pickups and a simple controls unit. Main features include a solid and flat poplar body, bolt-on neck joint, "SQR" pickups, and modern hardware. Surf Pearl and Graphite Metallic are the only available color options (gloss finish, black hardware, black pickguard on both). Other notable features include a maple neck (C profile, satin finish), 21-fret Indian laurel fingerboard (dot inlays, 1.65" nut, 25.5" scale), two-piece hardtail bridge, and die-cast tuners.
