Affinity series from Squier Guitars is among the most respected and popular series in the budget-friendly section of the market. It`s models are based on the original Fender guitars and basses and offer great value for the money players invest. Models of this series come with solid bodies, bolted necks and 21-fret fingerboards (basses have standard 20 frets). Also, Squier raises the ante with huge color palettes for each model. One of the models updated and introduced for 2013 is the Telecaster. It comes with a standard single-cut body made of alder. It is flat on top, contoured in the back and is equipped with a bolt-on neck joint. Bridge section on this Tele is equipped with a top-load variant of the vintage Telecaster bridge. It is plated in chrome. Pickups are classic Telecaster singles. Bridge pickup is slanted. Master volume, master tone and a three-position blade switch comprise the controls unit. Neck on the Affinity Telecaster is made of maple and it features the standard C contour in the back. On it`s top, there`s a 21-fret fingerboard. medium jumbo frets, dot inlays, 9.50" radius and 1.60" wide synthetic bone nut complete the fingerboard.
