Solar Guitars` Artist line consists of three models, each based on a different series/body type. V1.6Artist LTD is based on the Type V concept and belongs to the tier 1 (price tags usually over $1,000 and premium hardware). Main features include a solid and beveled V body, set-in neck, standard 25-1/2" scale, passive electronics, and premium hardware. The color palette`s limited to Trans Black Matte (w/matte finish, black hardware, matching headstock, and black plastics). V1.6Artist LTD costs $1,199 and is among the most expensive Solar models. Other notable features include a beveled swamp ash body, set-in maple neck w/smooth finish, 24-fret fingerboard made of ebony (13.77" radius, Solar inlay at the 12th fret, Graphite nut), Evertune bridge, Solar pickups (Seymour Duncan), and Grover tuners.
