Solar Guitars is one of the youngest and most recently launched guitar brands. While still in its infancy, so to say, Solar Guitars is putting out some seriously competitive six and seven-stringers. Most of the models compete in the intermediate and upper intermediate classes, with A1.7ET being the A series` flagship model ($1199). A1.7ET rocks seven-string construction, stellar Evertune bridge, slightly elongated 26.5" scale, and stealthy styling. Currently, the only available color option is Carbon Matte (w/black hardware, black plastic parts, black headstock). Other notable features include a solid and double-cut alder body, set-in maple neck (C profile, smooth finish), a 24-fret ebony fingerboard (graphite nut, 13.77" radius, 12th fret Solar inlay), Seymour Duncan`s Solar humbuckers, and Grover tuning machines.
