Wes hauch is one of several guitarists who have reinforced Schecter`s already stellar signature artist roster. His signature series starts off with a lone seven-stringed PT model. It features the standard 25-1/2" scale (though Schecter`s seven-string models usually come with 26-1/2" scales), passive electronics and 24-fret fingerboard. Wes Hauch PT-7 FR rocks a solid and flat body made of swamp ash and a bolt-on neck made of maple. Ultra-thin neck sports a 24-fret ebony fingerboard with abalone offset dot inlays on its top. Seymour Duncan`s Nazgul/Sentient duo delivers infernal tone and features a pretty simple controls unit. Floyd Rose 1500 series bridge and Grover tuners make sure the strings on this ferocious PT stay in perfect tune even after prolonged dive-bomb sessions.
