Gary Holt, the legend of thrash metal and one of the pillars of thrash metal band Exodus is also among the most important signature artists in Schecter catalog. His series currently has two models, the V1 and V1 Lefty. V1 comes with a V-shaped body made of mahogany. Style-wise, this one features Spartan looks, black hardware and red pickup covers. Black is the only color scheme available for this model and it comes with gloss finish. Bridge section is a simple one, it features a tune-o-matic bridge with string through construction. In it`s front, Schecter installs a pair of active EMG humbuckers with red covers. Neck is set in and it`s made of mahogany. On it`s top, there`s a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
