Tempest Custom is the top model in Schecter`s Tempest series. It comes with a solid, double-cut body with carved top and set in neck joint. It is made of mahogany back and maple top. Top panel features unique Tempest series carve and it can be made either of plain maple, or flamed maple. Dark Vintage Sunburst and Faded Vintage Sunburst color options have flamed maple cap, while the black Tempest Customs come with plain maple tops. All three variants are equipped with chrome hardware and high gloss finish. Tune-o-matic bridge on Tempest Custom is paired with a stoptail bar. Active Seymour Duncan humbuckers are installed in the front. Coils of these pickups can be split. Set in mahogany neck is topped with a 22-fret ebony fingerboard.
