Special is a lower intermediate tier in many catalogs across the industry. Schecter Guitars Research is no exception to this unwritten rule. Special models are at the same time pretty affordable and tend to offer a glimpse of luxury. Solo Special is a model from the Solo series of single-cut electric guitars. All Solo models are designed after the iconic Les Paul. Body of this model is solid, single-cut and made of mahogany. Body is flat on top and has set in neck joint. 2-Tone Sunburst is the only color scheme for this model. Two-piece bridge section is made up of a tune-o-matic bridge and stoptail bar. It`s fronted by a zebra-coiled humbucker and a fat single-coil pickup. Set in mahogany neck is topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
