Schecter`s catalog is being thoroughly reconstructed for 2013 with new series and new models. Schecter steps into this year with full speed and already they have introduced several stunning models. One of those models is the heir of the legendary PT Fastback guitar. It is named PT Fastback II B. PT concept from Schecter is very reminiscent of 1972 Telecaster made by Fender, it features a similar single-cut body, similar pickguard and a bolted neck. A multitude of other features also reminds of the legendary 1972 Telecaster. Body of the PT Fastback II B is solid, single-cut and made of alder. There`s no top wood cap installed on this one. Binding is creme and the gloss finish is applied over both the Dark Emerald Green and Metallic Red color schemes. Bridge section is equipped with a tune-o-matic bridge in the front and a choice between a plain stop bar, or Bigsby vibrato in the back. Schecter`s active humbuckers are installed in the front and are controlled with separate volume and tone knobs. This setup is accompanied by a three-way toggle pickup switch. Maple neck is bolted to the body and it`s topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard. Scale measures 25-1/2" and the hardware is plated in chrome.
