Schecter Omen-6 Left Handed is what it`s name says, a left handed version of Omen`s opening model, a double cutaway six-stringer. Omen is placed at the lower part of the catalog and offers inexpensive models for metal oriented players. Dual humbuckers and 24 extra jumbo frets pretty much orient this model. It comes with a solid basswood body and carved top. The top binding, depending on the color option can be ivory or black. Black gloss, vintage white gloss and walnut satin colors are available. This lefty comes with a tune-o-matic bridge in combination with string-through-body construction, which is a standard option for double cutaway models with non-tremolo bridges. Pickup combo on this model is Schecter own Diamond Plus humbuckers in the bridge and neck positions. The controls are simple and consist of master volume, master tone and three-way toggle pickup switch. The neck is fast, sleek and made of maple with a bolt-on joint. Since it is Omen series, there is no ultra access. The fingerboard is made of rosewood and equipped with 24 extra jumbo frets and pearloid semi-gothic position inlays. The MSRP for Omen-6 2012 Left Handed has not yet been set.
