The basic Omen line has been updated several times since it`s introduction and the last big update was in 2012. It was a face-lift, with no essential changes in the specs lists. Omen 6 is still the basic model of the line and it has a solid, double-cut body made of basswood. It has a carved top and bolt-on neck joint. Black, White and Walnut color options are still there. Black and White are finished in gloss, while the Walnut is finished in gloss. Tune-o-matic bridge is alone in the bridge section and it`s fronted by a pair of open-coil humbuckers. Neck on this model is bolted to the body and it`s made of maple. It is topped with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.
