Omen 8 Left Handed is an affordable eight-string option from Schecter Guitars. In it`s price range, it easily beats the competition with it`s build quality, Schecter Diamond pickups and 24-fret fingerboard. One thing all seven and eight-string axes made by Schecter have in common is the 26-1/2" scale. It may not seem as much, but the extra inch gives a lot cleaner and tighter low end. Classic double-cut body of this eight-string beast is made of basswood and paired with a maple neck. Black is the only color scheme available. It features gloss finish and chrome hardware. Eight-saddled hardtail bridge is plated in chrome, as are Schecter tuners on the headstock. Rosewood fingerboard on the neck is equipped with 24 extra jumbo frets.
