Jeff Loomis is among the premier signature artists of Schecter catalog, along with Synyster Gates and Zacky Vengeance. Vast and diverse line of Jeff`s signature models has been growing at a steady pace for past several years, culminating with wild 2016 Cygnus signature models. First the six-string models were introduced at the winter NAMM, followed by JLX-7 FR (seven-string model) unveiled at the summer NAMM. Seven-stringed Cygnus is, in all respects, save the string count, identical to its six-string brethren. It comes in eye-catching See-Thru Cherry, with gloss finish and black/black chrome hardware. Jeff Loomis Cygnus JLX-7 FR rocks the original Cygnus body, made of swamp ash base and flamed maple top (one of the most usual body combos in Jeff`s signature line). The neck is a three-piece, made of maple and equipped with ultra thin C profile. The neck runs through the body, has ultra access heel and is topped with a 24-fret maple fingerboard. Gothic cross inlays, extra jumbo frets, 1.874" locking string nut and 16" radius are fingerboard`s main features. Signature Seymour Duncan Jeff Loomis humbuckers bring all the thunder and fury Jeff`s riffs and solos are known for, featuring minimal controls unit. Seven-saddled Floyd Rose 1500 bridge and Grover tuners are also among the major features of this ferocious seven-stringed beast.
