Hellraiser Hybrid Avenger FR S is 2015`s only addition to the excellent Hellraiser Hybrid series. It comes with the awesome Avenger double-cut body made of mahogany base and quilt maple top. Top is, of course, carved and features pearloid black and white binding. Color scheme chosen for this metal machine is a variation on the classic Hellraiser Series Trans Black (it is named Trans Black Burst). Darkened edges add an entirely new dimension to the sinister appearance of this wicked six-string blending even better with the black chrome hardware. Floyd Rose 1500 is featured on the top, along with one of the wickedest pickup combos ever created. Bridge position features the monstrous EMG 57 with the brushed black chrome cover, while the neck position features Schecter`s Sustainiac. Translated into plain English - heavy, brutal and surgically precise. Master volume, master tone and the three-way toggle pickup switch are accompanied by a pair of mini-switches - two-way switch toggles the Sustainiac on and off, while the three-way switch selects the mode in which the Sustainiac operates. Three-piece maple neck with ultra thin C contour is Hybrid Series` signature feature and comes with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard on it`s top. Offset dot inlays and the custom 12th fret inlay grace the fingerboard. 20" radius, 1.625" wide locking nut, 25-1/2" scale and Grover tuners on the classic Schecter headstock wrap up this rather impressive set of features.
