Hellraiser C-1 (2014) by Schecter
Trans Purple Burst

Hellraiser is, along with the Blackjack series, the supreme ruler of the Schecter catalog. This series is based on the most popular Schecter body shape, C (C-1 are double-cut six-stringers with carved tops, C-7 have seven strings, while the C-8 models come with eight), though others, such as V, Solo and Tempest do appear. For 2014, Hellraiser`s lineup is being significantly modified, updated and renovated. New Hellraiser C-1 is the new standard of the Hellraiser range. It comes with a solid and double-cut mahogany body with a two-piece quilted maple top. Traditionally, Hellraiser C-1 comes with abalone binding, abalone fingerboard inlays, black chrome hardware and glossy finish. Color palette has been restricted for this model to Trans Purple Burst. On the top, there`s the lone tune-o-matic bridge with string-through-body construction. In it`s front, there are two active EMG humbuckers (81TW in the bridge and 89R in the neck position). Two volume knobs have push/pull switches for coil-splitting and are joined by a single tone knob. Three-position blade switch is also featured in the controls unit. Mahogany neck is made of three pieces of wood and rocks the classic thin C contour in the back. It is set in and combined with the ultra access cutaway. 24-fret fingerboard on it`s top is made of rosewood. It features extra jumbo frets, abalone gothic cross inlays, 1.65" wide TUSQ nut and 14" radius. Schecter locking tuners complete the specs list. The MSRP for this magnificent six-stringer is set at $1,149.
