Damien range of models in Schecter catalog, though it ranks below the Hellraiser and Blackjack lines, boasts some impressive guitars. This especially goes for the brand neww line of Damien Platinum guitars. Set neck construction, mighty EMG pickups and 24-fret fingerboards guarantee for an unforgettable experience. Damien Platinum 6 opens the line as it`s basic model. It is a standard double-cut body made of mahogany, with a carved top side and ergonomically contoured back. Platinum binding is the only decoration and the black body is finished in satin. There is no pickuguard installed on this metal machine. Performance-oriented philosophy of design of the Damien series is obvious on Platinum Damiens, as well. High grade mahogany is used for the body of this, and all other Damien Platinum guitars. Bridge section is equipped with a tune-o-matic bridge and strings run through the body behind it. Pickups combo is a classic one, it contains EMG`s 81 in the bridge and 85 in the neck. Master volume, master tone and a three-way toggle pickup switch comprise the controls unit. Three-piece neck is made of maple, it`s set in and equipped with ultra access construction of the heel and the lower cutaway. Fingerboard on the top is equipped with 24 extra jumbo frets with bat inlays. Tuners are Grover, scale is standard 25-1/2" long and hardware is plated in chrome.
