C bodies represent the mainstay of the Schecter Guitar Research catalog and their most popular design. It is a modern take on the classic Strat/Soloist design. C-1 models have six strings, while C-7 and C-8 have seven and eight strings, respectively. In series like Damien, Demon, Omen and Blackjack, number 6 stands instead of the C-1 mark. Thus, the Damien 6 is the basic model of the series of the same name. Solid, double-cut basswood body is carved on top and paired with a maple neck. Instead of a tune-o-matic bridge, Damien 6 FR has a licensed Floyd Rose bridge. It is fronted by a standard pair of humbuckers. Maple neck is bolted to the body and has standard back contour. 24-fret fingerboard is made of rosewood.
