2015 Signature Artist lineup will be stronger for one more thrash metal legend - one and only Chris Poland. Chris is best known for his work on landmark Megadeth albums Killing is My Business... and Business is Good and Peace Sells... but Who`s Buying?. Not just Megadeth, these albums largely defined what thrash metal is. The six-stringed Poltergeist is his first Schecter signature and we all hope it`s just the first of many. Though he`s known for his stylistic versatility, being a thrasher, shredder, rock, fusion and jazz musician, Poltergeist is clearly oriented towards the rock and metal styles. Solid and single-cut body takes on the standard Solo-6 (LP) design and construction featuring mahogany base with a carved maple top. Floyd Rose 1500 series bridge replaces the hardtail combo usually associated with this body style. Schecter`s Custom Shop Pasadena Plus humbuckers are featured in the pickups compartment. Master volume, bridge tone, neck tone (also has a push/pull switch for coil-splitting) and a three-way toggle switch comprise the controls. Set in mahogany neck on this short-scale axe (24-5/8" scale) features the standard C profile in the back and 24-fret ebony fingerboard with locking nut and offset dot markers on the top. Grover tuners wrap up the specs list.
