Schecter`s catalog contains many electric guitar series, some big, some small and Blackjack is among the biggest and oldest ones. This series contains several sub-lines, divided by body shapes they sport and electronics they use (Blackjacks are equipped exclusively with Seymour Duncan pickups, both passive and active). For 2014, Blackjack is one of the most heavily updated series in the entire catalog and this C-1 FR is one among many six-stringers being introduced. It comes with a solid and double-cut body made of mahogany in it`s entirety. Also, it is paired with a mahogany-made neck. Solid and carved mahogany body of this model is offered only in glossy black with red binding and black hardware. Floyd Rose bridge is fronted with a pair of vicious Seymour Duncans (Nazgul in the bridge and Sentient in the neck position). These passive humbuckers come with two volume knobs, one tone knob and a three-position blade switch. Mahogany neck rocks the fantastic thin C contour in the back. It`s combined with a comfortable heel and ultra access cutaway. On it`s top, there`s a series standard ebony fingerboard with 24 extra jumbo-sized frets.
