ATX is Blackjack`s oldest and most important branch. It is a line of solid-bodied electric guitars with Seymour Duncan`s Blackout pickups (these were made in order to cut into the heavy active pickups segment ruled by EMG`s 81, 85, 89, 57 and 66 pickups). For 2014, ATX line is being completely overhauled with new six, seven and eight-stringers being introduced. ATX C-8 LH is a solid and double-cut guitar with a super long (baritone) 28" scale, set in neck with ultra access cutaway and the standard 24-fret fingerboard. Body is, as well as the three-piece neck, made of mahogany. It features a carved top (standard C model feature) with aged creme binding around it. The3 only color option is the Aged Black Satin along with black hardware. On the top, this model is fit with a standard eight-saddled hardtail bridge with string-through-body construction. In the front, there are two AHB-1 Blackout pickups with a basic controls unit. To volume knobs, one tone and a three-position blade switch comprise the controls. Mahogany neck rocks the standard thin C contour in the back and a 24-fret ebony fingerboard on the top. The MSRP for this behemoth is set at $1,399.
