Avenger is one of several authentic Schecter contours and can be found in several series. As of 2014, Avenger will be one of the most prominent body contours in the Blackjack series. One of many Avenger models introduced into the Blackjack line for this year is the mighty A-6 FR S. This one is the same as the regular A-6 FR, but instead of the Sentient pickup in the neck position, it has a Sustainiac humbucker. Sustainiac comes with additional pair of mini-switches, which regulate if it`s on, or off and in which mode it will operate. Standard master volume and master tone, as well as the regular three-way toggle pickup switch are included into the controls section. Bridge on this model is the Floyd Rose double-locking tremolo with a locking nut on the opposite end of the 25-1/2" scale. Body of this mighty six-stringer is solid, double-cut and made of mahogany. It is paired with a three-piece mahogany neck with a thin C contour in the back and the standard bolt-on joint. Fingerboard is made of ebony and it features series standard set of 24 extra jumbo frets.
