Stu D. Baker is the only alter ego of an already existing alter ego that`s got his own signature guitar. And, to make things even more confusing, two guitars are almost identical, save for the minor details. So, let`s take a look into the Stu D. Baker side of the Unknown Hinson Signature guitar. Like the Hinson model, Stu D. Baker guitar kicks off with a slimmer version of the King Club body (a rounded and semi-hollow take on the classic Tele concept) painted black and fit with a lone "f" hole on the bass side. Tune-o-matic/stoptail bridge and a pair of CP90 pickups are also there. Oval maple neck is bolted to the body and topped with a 22-fret fingerboard made of maple. One could argue that the specs lists of these two models are the same, and they`d be right. Differences are merely cosmetic. For example, the Stu D. Baker model has dot inlays, while the Hinson comes with bat inlays. Also, Hinson model has a signed pickguard, while the Stu D. model features the signature on the back of the headstock.
