Imperial AS is an opening model from the Carved Jazz Series of archtop jazz guitars from Peerless. It comes with a single cutaway body made of solid maple back and sides and solid spruce top. The top is bound in black and white binding and equipped with an elevated black pickguard. It also sports bound "f" holes. In the bridge section Peerless installs an ebony bridge with a wooden trapezoid tailpiece. Pickup section on this model is made up of a neck minibucker pickup. It is controlled through a single volume knob. Neck on this model is made of maple and equipped with a C contour. It also features a set-in joint at the 14th fret. Fingerboard is made of ebony and it comes with 22 frets, custom 12th fret inlay and 1.69" bone nut. Grover tuners wrap the specs list.
