AT-200 is a guitar made by Peavey in cooperation with Antares Audio Technologies. Auto Tune system, that is provided by Antares is the most prominent feature of this model. This system is operated through two push/pull knobs installed within the master volume and master tone knobs. System is engaged when push/pull switch on the tone knob is pressed. Then, the player strums the strings and presses the volume knob and system automatically tunes all six strings. The same method engages the solid tune function, which keeps the tuning and intonation of the strings in check. The system is powered by four AA batteries and can be turned on and off according to the player`s needs. This guitar can also be powered remotely by the Breakdown Box feature. Besides the regular 1/4" plug, this guitar has a full-sized MIDI port with 8-pin DIN connector. This guitar comes with a solid double cut body made of basswood. It`s flat, unbound and it does not feature a pickguard. Bridge is a regular hardtail with adjustable saddles and string-through construction. In the pickups department Peavey installs a pair of their own passive humbuckers. Previously mentioned master volume and master tone knobs are accompanied by a three-way toggle switch. Neck on this model is made of maple and it`s bolted to the body. It`s back side is finished in gloss, while the top is covered with a rosewood finerboard. 24 frets are covered with dot inlays. Die-cast tuners and the rest of the hardware on this model are plated in black. Black and Candy Apple Red are color options available for this model and they both come with gloss finish. 25-1/2" scale wraps the specs list for the Peavey AT-200.
