SE is one of several main series of the PRS catalog. It contains a wide variety of electric guitars, both solid and semi hollow. Also, there are single and double-cut axes featured within the lines of this series. Besides all that, SE series also includes bolt-on neck joints and single-coil pickups on several models. SE Single Cut is made of mahogany back and flamed maple top. Body is completely solid and it`s paired with a standard set in in neck. Wrap around bar in the bridge section is plated in nickel and it`s fronted by a pair of open coil humbuckers. Master volume, master tone and a three-way toggle pickup switch comprise the controls. Mahogany neck is topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.

The features on the guitar to me, are limited, i wish they would put nice inlays, and floyd rose, or something like that, overall its ok though.. The quality of the guitar, is greatly appreciated, i 've had this guitar for 5 years, it hasn't broken, even after it fell of my rack, it sounds perfect, and came nice out of my case, love the guitar, although i never liked the features, i loved the sound, and quality of this PRS. The value is perfect for such a guitar, it sounds as good as a les paul, and has somewhat of a les paul feel, for alot less, and is better sounding i think. I love this guitar, it sounds good, and the quality is usually perfect, although the features are lacking, i enjoy the sound, and quality PRS gave with this guitar, if you have money for this guitar, buy it, it is made beautifully, and is a good guitar for a beginner, to a expert.

My single cut has prs treble and bass humbuckers one tone and volume control prs tuners and 22 frets. Really dont miss any other features like the fixed bridge. I hate tremolo bridges! Really like all the features wish my tremonti se pickups were like the single cut and there is definitely a difference in them. I actually bought mine used but it looks as though it was never played. Picked it up from the rack and it was in tune! never found that in any other guitar ive owned. I would definitely use it live without a backup and I believe its very dependable. Oh yeah paid only 300 dollars used. I would definitely buy another one. Im very happy with this guitar, I actually play it more than my Tremonti.
