SE Custom models are modeled after the Core range`s Custom 22 and 24 models and aim to offer similar playability and tone, but at a much lower price. In order to achieve the popular price, SE models have to make some compromises regarding the materials and place where they`re made. Nonetheless, these are still genuine PRS axes. SE Custom 24 7-String is one of the best examples of what SE range offers and what it`s capable of. It kicks off with a solid and double-cut body made of mahogany back and flamed maple top (creme binding around the top). The neck`s made of maple and it features wide thin profile. 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with bird inlays sits on its top. PRS SE HFS Treble/SE Vintage Bass offer a wide palette of tones, ranging from blues to metal. String-through hardtail bridge and die-cast tuners complete the specs list.
