SE series is the home of the most affordable PRS guitars and basses. The models of this series, both Custom and Standard tiers, cost well under $1,000 (Standards go for around $500) and are mostly equipped with PRS Designed hardware and electronics. SE Custom 24 kicks off with a solid, double-cut body, glued-in neck, 24-fret fingerboard, zebra-coiled pickups and 25" scale. Scarlet Red, Tobacco Sunburst, Trampas Green and Whale Blue comprise the color palette (gloss finish, nickel hardware). Core construction features include a solid mahogany body base, figured maple top (two-piece, beveled), maple neck (wide thin profile) and rosewood fingerboard (Bird inlays, 25" scale, 24 frets). Main hardware and electronics appointments include a PRS tremolo bridge, PRS Designed tuners and 85/15 humbucking pickups.
