SE 277 Semi-Hollow Soapbar (2017) is one of two baritone-scaled models featured in this year`s SE series lineup. It is the only long-necked semi-hollow in current production, as well. Another special feature is the choice of soapbar (P-90-sized) pickups over the humbuckers for which PRS models are known for. SE 277 Semi-Hollow Soapbar owes the first part of its name to the scale length (27.7"). Body construction type lends itself for the middle part, with pickups type completing the name. Core construction features include a chambered mahogany base, maple neck (wide fat profile) and 22-fret rosewood fingerboard (Bird inlays, 27.7" scale). Main hardware and electronics features include a PRS Designed Plate Style bridge, PRS Designed tuners and PRS SE Soapbar single-coil pickups.
