The non-expensive SE class is the opening series of PRS catalog. It contains both electric and acoustic models, both signature and regular. Affordable tonewoods, mostly PRS-designed hardware and SE class pickups offer great bang for the buck and retain that classic PRS aura. SE 277 Semi-Hollow Soapbar kicks off with a semi-hollow body made of mahogany base (back and sides) and arched flame maple top. The top`s decorated with elegant binding and an offset "f" hole. The set-in neck is made of maple and sports a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard on top (27.7" scale, bird inlays). Two PRS Soapbar pickups bring a plethora of tones and styles, ranging from surf rock and country to full-on metal. String-through hardtail bridge and PRS designed tuners complete the specs list. B-E-A-D-F#-B is the standard tuning.
