SE series is both the most affordable and most popular series in PRS catalog. It features three distinct branches: electric guitar (divided into Custom, Standard and Signature tiers), electric bass (signature and standard tiers) and acoustic guitar (standard and signature). SE 245 belongs to the electric guitar branch, to its Custom tier and it is the most expensive non-signature single-cut of the entire SE range. Cherry Sunburst and Tobacco Sunburst (both with gloss finish and nickel hardware) comprise the color palette. Core construction features of this short-scaled rocker include mahogany body, figured maple top (beveled contour, creme binding, two-piece construction), mahogany neck (Wide fat profile) and rosewood fingerboard (22 frets, 24.5" scale). main hardware and electronics features include a PRS Designed Stoptail bridge, PRS Designed tuners and SE 245 Bass/Treble humbuckers.
