SC 245 Maple Top is a single-cut electric guitar with carved top and set in neck joint. It is a part of the Solid Body series in the PRS catalog and is also one of several single-cut models in this series. Paul Reed Smith based this model on the iconic Les Paul, but he gave it distinct styling and tone, thus making it one of the most popular single-cut guitars in the world. SC 245 Maple Top variant comes with a solid mahogany body and beautiful flamed maple top. Solid color options have plain maple tops. Wrap around bridge is fronted by a pair of 245 active humbuckers. Two volume and two tone knobs are accompanied by a three-way toggle pickup switch. Set in mahogany neck is topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
