Brent Mason is one of true legends and one of the most sought after session musicians in Nashville. He also has several writing credits and a Grammy to his name. Mr. Mason`s Private Stock signature is a supremely versatile axe, able of delivering a staggering range of tones and styles. Private Stock Brent Mason features a Strat-like body (a pretty uncharacteristic occurrence in PRS catalog) made of swamp ash base and flamed maple top (standard top alternatives are offered). The neck is made of maple and its bolted to the body (also a non-typical PRS feature). 22-fret maple fingerboard tops the neck. Two 408 Narrow humbuckers are accompanied by a true single-coil in the middle position and coils-splitting switches behind the bridge. Other main features include a PRS trem bridge and Phase III locking tuners.
