McCarty Korina with wide fat neck contour is one of few models in current production which feature the body and neck made of korina wood. ack in the 1950s and 1960s, korina ruled the scene, along with swamp ash, then the mahogany and alder came and took over the entire industry. Nowadays, korina appears on selected upscale models, similar to koa in the acoustic segment. McCarty Korina has a solid, double-cut body made completely of korina. It features a carved top, set in neck joint and a super deep cutaway. Hardware installed on the body and headstock is plated in chrome. Wrap around bridge on this model is fronted with a pair of PRS McCarty humbuckers. Set in korina neck is topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
