KL 1812 Limited is a nod to the 1950s and 1960s. This is the way PRS makes vintage styling and vintage tone seem modern and cool to younger players. KL 1812 comes with a solid, double-cut body made of korina. Both the back and front panels are made of it. Korina is a rare wood today and it appears only occasionally on selected models. It`s mostly used for the upscale and limited edition guitars. KL 1812 has creme binding, glossy finish and nickel plating. Standard bridge section is equipped with a one-piece wrap around bar. In it`s front, PRS installs open-coil Mira humbuckers. Master tone pot has the push/pull switch for coil splitting. Set in mahogany neck is topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
