PRS`s CE guitars used to be the workhorses, the guitars which saw the heaviest use and abuse both on the road and in studio. They featured bolt-on maple necks, slightly subdued design and a tone to die for. The new 2017 CE 24 is a modern/classic take on the legend. The new CE features almost identical neck profile, as well as shallow top curve. Core construction features include a solid mahogany body, two-piece figured maple top, maple neck (Pattern Thin contour, four-bolt joint) and 24-fret rosewood fingerboard (Birds inlays, 25" scale). Ten color options are available, two solid and eight bursts (including the depicted Trampas Green). Main hardware and electronics appointments include Gen III Trem bridge, Phase III locking tuners and 85/15 set of pickups.
