25th Anniversary series from the PRS Guitars was introduced back in 2010 and it featured a wide range of electric guitars, both single and double-cut. These were based on guitars from the regular section of the catalog and were given a special 25th anniversary treatment. One of the most important models from this series was the 25th Anniversary McCarty. It was a tribute model made for the late Mr McCarty, former president of Gibson Guitars. It had a solid, double-cut body made of mahogany back and flamed maple top. Supremely elegant styling and refined tone were the greatest assets of this beauty. Pair of Narrwofield mini-buckers was installed in front of the wrap around bar bridge. Set in neck is made of mahogany and it`s topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
