James Valentine of Maroon 5 fame is one of distinguished members of Music Man`s signature artist family. The current lineup of his signature series features only one model - Valentine. The eponymous axe sports gorgeous styling, versatile tone and classic Music Man build quality and playability. Valentine can be bought in four color options: Trans Buttermilk, Trans Black, Trans Maroon and Satin Natural. All four have a vintage tortoise shell pickguard, as well as combined Music Man/Schaller hardware and electronics. Core construction features include a slab ash body, roasted maple neck (custom profile, five-bolt neck joint, 4+2 headstock) and roasted maple fingerboard (22 high profile/medium width frets, black dot inlays, 10" radius). Major hardware and electronics appointments include a modern Music Man hardtail bridge, locking Schaller tuners and custom-wound Music Man pickups in S/H arrangement.
