John Petrucci is, together with Steve Lukather and Steve Morse, the most important Music Man`s signature artist. The collaboration between Mr. Petrucci and Music Man is well over a decade long, and it gave the world some of the finest shred machines ever created. JP16 7-String is one of the latest offsprings of John Petrucci`s main signature line. It is a mighty seven-stringer, with all of the classic JP appointments, as well as some pretty neat novelties (locking bridge, Sonic Ecstasy pickups, etc). The color palette features only the Black Lava option (gloss finish, black hardware). Specs list highlights include a solid and double-cut basswood body (w/forearm bevel), bolt-on maple neck, 24-fret ebony fingerboard (25-1/2" scale, bullet inlays), Floyd Rose 1000 bridge, Dimarzio Sonic Ecstasy pickups, and locking Schaller tuners.
