John Petrucci Signature JPX-6 is one of numerous models in John`s signature series. This series is one of the most important signature lines in the entire Music Man catalog, as John is one of the most influential and important metal and shred guitar players in the world. JPX-6 features advanced electronics, premium hardware and top shelf tonewoods. Pair of passive DiMarzio humbuckers is accompanied by a piezo pickup installed within the chrome-plated tremolo bridge. Bridge is made of hardened steel and features steel saddles. Tuners on the headstock are made by Schaller and are installed in classic 4+2 pattern. Body is solid, double-cut and made of either alder or mahogany base with plain maple top. Bolt-on maple neck has asymmetric contour in the back and a 24-fret ebony fingerboard on top.
