1965 is one of four basic models of the magnificent 1960s series made by Michael Kelly Guitars. Like its companions (both stock and limited edition), this elegant rocker was inspired by the classic Strat concept and imbued with MK`s own styling and modern electronics. 1965 is available in Amber, Hint Black, and Aged Cherryburst (all sport gloss finish, flame maple binding and classic pickguard on top). Core construction features include swamp ash body (tummy cut in the back, solid construction), quilt maple top (2-piece construction), maple neck (Modern C profile, bolt-on joint) and rosewood fingerboard (22 medium jumbo frets, dot inlays, compound 10.5"-16" radius, 25-1/2" scale). Major hardware and electronics appointments include a string-through tremolo bridge, locking Grover tuners and Rockfield pickups in HSS configuration (together with Epic Eleven boutique mod).
