1955 is one of the best representatives of Michael Kelly`s fantastic 1950s series. The series is centered around Tele-inspired guitars which blend the classic looks of the legendary single-cut with modern tone and playability. 1955 is available in Caramel Burst, Black Wash, and Amber Trans. All three options cost $549 and feature gloss finish, as well as chrome-plated hardware. Core construction features, shared among the options, include a solid swamp ash body (ergonomically contoured back), quilt maple top (two-piece top, natural binding, plastic pickguard), maple neck (modern C profile, bolt-on joint) and 22-fret fingerboard (medium jumbo frets, 1.69" bone nut, 25.5" scale and compound 10.5"-16" radius). Major hardware and electronics features include a modern Tele bridge, die-cast tuners and Rockfield pickups.
