MS500 is a veteran among electric guitars, as it started off back in the 1950s, when electric guitars were just a new thing in the town. Apart from Fender, Gibson, Rickenbacker and other giants, Maton managed to launch and keep MS500 model, which became successful project. Even George Harrison played it. This particular MS500 is a 50th anniversary model made in honor of the first Maton MS500 models from the 1950s. This one comes with a familiar, solid and double cut body made of silver silkwood. It is bound in white binding and equipped with a white pickguard. Bridge section has a standard combo of tune-o-matic bridge and stoptail bar. Pickups are active and bridge humbucker can be split. Queensland maple neck is topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
