Kramer`s entire catalog leans on the 1980s legacy and the development of models reminiscent of the glam and shred metal era. Naturally, Powerstrat and Superstrat guitars form the rank and file of the Kramer forces. SM-1 is one special six-string. It comes with an aggressive double-cut body made of mahogany, a through-body mahogany neck and an ebony fingerboard. The body features a carved top and a super deep lower cutaway to enable the maximum reach to the fretting hand. Glued neck is fitted with a slim and fast contour in the back while a 24-fret fingerboard on its top boasts the vintage Kramer inlays. There are two sets of pickups offered with this shred machine - Seymour Duncan`s JB with a pair of Cool Rail single-coils and EMG`s 81 with a pair of single-coils in the middle and neck. Double-locking Floyd Rose trem bridge and die-cast tuners complete the specs list.
